Our First-Ever Limited Edition
In 1975, THE GINZA opened its doors in Ginza,
Tokyo, as a fashion boutique.
As an homage to our origins,
we present a special limited edition
adorned in a lace dress inspired by the iconic grid
that defines the Ginza streetscape.
This limited-edition bottle was created in collaboration
with Japanese designer Yuki Funakoshi.
It is a reimagining of the glossy glass bottle as bare skin,
while the Ginza grid is reinterpreted
as a veil of sheer, delicate lace.
To achieve a presence that marries intricate
lace patterns with crystalline clarity and a quiet,
refined dignity,
advanced techniques used by a Japanese glass
workshop were employed.
The silk-like, melting texture and the elegant,
pale pink hue of the formula are beautifully
accentuated within the bottle.
It is the first garment worn upon the skin
—the first step of dressing yourself in beauty.
